Regardless of whether it is a minor crash, a major collision, or if the other driver says it is not important, call the police anyway!.

When you call, you will be informed if it is necessary for an officer to be present. Responding officers will accurately and lawfully fill out an accident report and document the scene. Ask the police officers where you can get a copy of the report.

If the police cannot get to the scene of the accident, you can go to the nearest police station and fill out a report yourself.
